Paragould- Ruth Ann Hafer, 76, formerly of Wynne passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

She was born June 3, 1942 in Monette to the late Elbert and Emagene Thompson Burks. Mrs. Hafer worked in the office for Craighead Electric and Woodruff Electric for over thirty-five years.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gaylon Hafer and a daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Hafer and a brother-in-law, Dennie Byers.

She is survived by her sisters, Mary Caldwell (Bobby) of Lake City, Wanda Pickle (Ray) of Renton, Washington and Linda Byers of Paragould; nieces and nephews, Robert, Justin, Tammy, Jackie and Leighann.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Tuesday at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Harvey officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Larry Montgomery, Brian Arnold, Eddie Flynn, Brad Caldwell, Thomas Johnson and Eddie Thompson.
