Jonesboro- Ruth Hankins Conyers, 75, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born January 14, 1940 in Holcomb, Missouri to the late William and Anna Elizabeth Allen Hankins. She was the owner of Conyers' Florist for 42 years and a member of the Friendship Assembly of God. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Teresa and Daniel Aspinwall of Jonesboro and Judy and Michael Holaway of Monticello; a daughter-in-law, Donna Conyers of Jonesboro; three brothers, Paul Hankins of Eureka, Missouri, Loyd Hankins of Park Hill, Missouri and Daryl Hankins of Sidney, Iowa; a sister, Yvonne Cooper of Owosso, Michigan; four grandchildren, Brandi Hamilton, Amanda Mitchell, Leah Holaway and Alex Aspinwall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Faris O'Dell Conyers; a son, Faris Conyers; a daughter, Pamela Conyers and a brother, James Hankins. A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am Friday, September 11, 2015 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Ron Allison, Boyce Brownderville, Randy Snell, Alex Aspinwall, Chad Golden and Randall Montgomery and honorary pallbearers the members of Friendship Assembly of God.
