Russell Gregory (Greg) Pettit, 76, of Little Rock, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 at his home.

He was born July 25, 1944, in Pocahontas to Russell Wall and Josephine Gregory Pettit. Greg was of the Church of Christ belief.

Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Gregory Pettit; father, Virgel Hutchison Pettit; natural father, Russell Wall; and daughter, Susan Graham.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Pettit; son, Russell A. (DeeDee) Pettit; daughters, Michelle (Paul D.) Garringer, and Jennifer York; son, Edward Graham; ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 6, 2020, 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Services will be at 12:00 P.M with Joshua Dement officiating. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery.

Greg was beloved by his family and many, many friends across the state. Known to his family and many friends as "Pops", he was a friend to all and never knew a stranger. He would help you out in any way he could. He will be missed.

To follow the directives of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, masks covering the mouth and nose are required for all persons in Arkansas for all indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to non-household members where social distancing cannot be assured. Those attending will also be asked to sign a contact registry and maintain a social distance.
