Jonesboro- Ruby Gordon Fullen Johnson, 98, passed September 9, 2016 at Flo Phil Jones Hospice House. Mrs. Johnson was born October 12, 1917, to John Eldridge and Mattie Sue Blankenship Fullen in Childress. She worked over 45 years combined as a hairdresser and teacher, and taught Children\u0027s Sunday School at Central Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clifford "Butter" Johnson; siblings Lutrell and Verl "Buck" Fullen, Zula Howe Campbell (Zollie), Thelma "Polly" Hale (Stanford), and nephews, Monroe Fullen and Nick Miller. She is survived by two sisters-in-law- Mary Fullen and Lucille Fullen; nephews, Charles, Marty and Bruce Fullen; nieces, Margaret Fullen, Candy Davis, Joy Hardin, and their families, as well as niece and caregiver LeAnn Blevins (Tony) and her children Nora and Jackson. Visitation will be Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2 p.m. with service beginning at 3 p.m. at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
