Jonesboro- Roy Monroe Baker, 87, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at this residence. He was born August 1, 1920 in Black Oak to the late J. C. and Jane Craig Baker. He retired from Stockton Plating where he worked as a maintenance engineer. He served in the Army and Air Force during World War II and the Korean War and was honored with several medals.
