Pocahontas - Roy Andrew (Andy) Fair went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2009 at the age of 88. Andy was born on November21, 1920 in Herd, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Ethel Lacey Fair; Brothers, Ray, Dick Leo, Evertt \u0026 Kenneth Fair; Sisters: Lilly Plum and Helen Gosselin. Children, Judith Marilyn Fair Fought and Monica Rose Fair and Great Grandchild, Syndney Paige Lindner. He is survived by his wife of 65 years and 7 months, Lucille Marie Steimel Fair, of the home, Children: Tim \u0026 (Chong (Peggy) Fair of Tracy, California, Matt \u0026 (Sue) Fair of Maumelle, AR, Pat \u0026 (Dottie) Fair of Cabot, AR, Mary Anne and (Joe) Carroll of Maynard, AR, Sara \u0026 (Bob) Pribula of Ackworth, GA, Mike \u0026 (Kay) Fair of Benton, AR, Jane \u0026 Francis) Tyler of Las Cruses, NM, Kathy \u0026 (Jim) Keeney of Paducah, KY, and son-in-law Charles Faught of Rector, AR. He is survived by 23 grandchildren \u0026 40 great grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Also, one sister, Loretta \u0026 (Bob) Hendricks of Coos Bay, OR, Sister-in-law's, Shirley Fair of Republic, MO, Helen Fair of Lodi, CA, Margaret \u0026 Bernard Baltz, Viola \u0026 Charles Jansen \u0026 Frances Steimel of Pocahontas, and a brother-in-law Edward Steimel of Baton Rouge, LA. He was an active member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and a memeber of the Knight's of Columbus. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars \u0026 a past member of the Honor Guard. He was also a member of the Meeks Johnston American Legion Post. He was a lifetime member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #155, and a former Boy Scout Leader for Troop 244. He proudly served his Country in WWII as a B-26 Crew Chief in 11 missions over Eastern Europe. He was an avid fisherman teaching his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren how to fish and catch crawdads. Service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Burial will follow to St. Paul's Cemetery with Father John Marconi officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7 with 7:00 p.m. rosary in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Military Honors will be done by Promberger Trau Post 4556.
