Pocahontas - Rosetta Mae Murray, 85, of Pocahontas passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehab Center.

She was born April 22, 1934 in Randolph County to the late Charles H. and Blanche I Compton Ellington. She was a homemaker.

Rosetta was preceded in death by her husband Eli Murray; her parents; a son, Stanley G. Murray; a daughter, Sarah Jane Murray Walker; daughter in law, Beverly Lynn White Murray; grandson, Terry D. Murray; two great grandsons, Gauge S. Murray and Markus T. Lowtharp; a great great grandchild; and one sister, Lucille Sullivan.

She is survived by one son, Eli Alan Murray; one daughter, R. Gay (Lyle) Lowtharp; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Brad and Chuck Murray, Gordon and Steven Lowtharp, and Emily Walker; twelve great grandchildren, Olivia, Wyatt, Tripp, Bryson, Brooklyn, Blakely, Connor, Clayton, and Troy Murray, Caleb Supinger, Trevor Lowtharp, and James Gage Givens; two sisters, Theda Crays and Imogene Cook of Pocahontas; two brothers, Randy Ellington of Pocahontas and Don Ellington of Texas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

All services will be in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, February 17, 2020 from 6-8 PM and a funeral service will be Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 10 AM with Russell Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Sharum Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Christopher, Michael, Brad, and Chuck Murray, Gordon and Steven Lowtharp.

Honorary pallbearers include: Wyatt, Tripp, Bryson, Connor, Clayton, and Troy Murray, Caleb Supinger, Trevor Lowtharp, and James Givens.
