Rosanne Marie McLavey, 77, of Pocahontas passed away Friday, January 23, 2026 at her home.

She was born April 26, 1948 in Sheldon, Iowa to Gerald and Marilyn McCarthy Fonkert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Marilyn Fonkert; husband, Don McLavey; son, Gerald Ray; and nephew, Derek.

Rosanne is survived by her daughters, Lisa Cooper and Diane (Brian) McTasney; six grandchildren, Renee, Brandi, Darrell, Michaela, Tristen, Gabriel, and great grandchildren; siblings, Gwen, Linda, Melody, and Richard; nieces and nephews, Tina, Jennifer, David, Estella, and Marcos; and many friends.

No services have been scheduled. Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
