Jonesboro- Ronnie Glenn Turman, 72, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 surrounded by his family.

He was born September 2, 1949 in Jonesboro to Raymond and Bernice Harvey Turman. Ronnie was a Valley View High School Class of 1967 graduate. He had worked at Riceland Company for fifteen years and retired as an electrician from Crane Composite Company after sixteen years. He enjoyed gardening, farming and working outside.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Brenda Smith Turman; his mother, Bernice Turman of Jonesboro; a daughter, Christy O'Neal of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Jordan O'Neal and Ashlyn O'Neal and great-grandchildren, Ty Robinson III and Ameer Lindsey.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Turman and brothers, Billy Ray Turman and Garry Turman.

The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home. The family requests masks to be worn.

A private service will be held with Rev. Don Martin officiating.
