Pocahontas - Ronald Dean Jarrett, 68, passed away April 6, 2014 at Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas. Ronald was born May 14, 1945 in Walnut Ridge, AR to Clifton and Bessie Mayberry Jarrett. Ronnie loved hunting with all of his hunting buddies. His greatest loves was his children, grandsons, and his favorite companion his cocker spaniel "Lexi". Ronnie will be missed by his longtime friends and family. He is survived by his mother Bessie Mayberry, children Greg ( Cathy) Jarrett of Cabot, and Angela Jarrett of Pocahontas, Grandchildren Jarrett Handford and Gregory Robbins of Pocahontas, Jeremy (Ashley) Robbins of Benton, siblings Tom (Mary) Jarrett of Fayetteville, Tom Doan of Russilleville, the Doan girls of Pocahontas. Preceded in death by father Clifton Jarrett, grandson Austin Jarrett and a baby sister. Visitation will be held at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel on April 10, 2014 at 6:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral will be held Friday, April 11, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Jim Thorpe officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock in memory of his grandson Austin Jarrett.
