Pocahontas - Roger M Peters, 70, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 at his home.

Roger was born on August 30, 1948 in Walnut Ridge, AR to Tib and Geneva Taylor Toy. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He loved to fish and to spend time with his family. He was a loving father, husband, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tib Toy and wife, Sue Brooker Peters.

He is survived by his mother Geneva Toy; son, Christopher (Denielle) Peters of Morrison, IL; grandchildren, Kristen, Tyler and Cody Peters of Morrison, IL; and siblings, Burna Woodall and Bendra Tribble, and his dog Murphy was always at his side.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM with a graveside funeral service at Masonic Cemetery following at 2:00 PM with Nelson Henderson officiating.
