Robert Eugene Thielemier, 88, of Pocahontas passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at his home.

He was born May 5, 1932 in Engelberg to the late William H. and Katherine Katie Ungerank Thielemier. Robert served in the Army where he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the St. John's Men's Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers, Bernard "Benny" Thielemier, Leo Thielemier, Antone "Tip" Thielemier, Aloyouis "Al" Thielemier, Herman Thielemier, Andrew "Andy" Thielemier, Raymond Thielemier, and Edward "Ed" Thielemier; and one sister, Mary Thielemier.

Robert is survived by his wife, Mary Kathryn Walker Thielemier; three sons, John Thielemier of Fayetteville, Henry Thielemier of Paragould, and Phillip (Karla) Thielemier of Pea Ridge; six grandchildren, David Thielemier of Fayetteville, Latasha Thielemier of Paragould, Kyle Thielemier of Bentonville, Ashley Rougton of Bella Vista, Grace Thielemier of Pea Ridge, and Austin Thielemier of Paragould; one great granddaughter, Kyla Thielemier; one brother, Richard "Dick" Thielemier of Engelberg; one sister, Wilma Wren of Engelberg, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, September 25, 2020 from 5-7 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a Rosary being said at 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 10 AM at St. John Catholic Church with Father Stephen Elser officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
