Jonesboro- Robert Woodrow (Red) Stewart, 75, passed away on August 5, 2025. He was born in Memphis TN, on November 17, 1949, to the late Aubrey and Emma Green Stewart.
Robert is survived by his wife, Joy, of Jonesboro; his daughter, Tamara Stewart, of Coldwater MS; his son, Robert Jr (Holly) Stewart, of Coldwater, MS; his son, Eric (Theresa) Stewart, of Olive Branch MS; his daughter, Jennifer (Evan) Falk, of Brookland; along with beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. His surviving family also includes his sisters, Debra Bush and Cynthia Starr of Cowan TN, and beloved nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte Parker Stewart, and his brothers, Larry Stewart and Max Martin Stewart.
Robert has been a member of All Saints Lutheran Church of Jonesboro.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 12, 2025 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Visitation will be followed by a short funeral service at 1:00 pm in the pavilion at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery of Cherry Valley (Birdeye Community), officiated by Reverend Joshua Leigeber.
Pallbearers will be Robert's son, Eric; his grandsons, R. Wesley and Cody, and his son-in-law Evan.
In memoriam, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to All Saints Lutheran School (elementary- junior high) of Jonesboro or the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House of Jonesboro.
The family extends their gratitude to the staff of St. Bernards Medical Center and the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House for the considerate care and compassion shown to Robert.
