Brookland- Robert Gerald Newcom Sr., 70, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Nettleton on August 13, 1937 to the late Robert Clif and Lillian Beatrice Newcom. He was retired from General Motors in Michigan and was of the Baptist belief.
