Jonesboro - Robert Eugene Lemmons, 81, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. He was born October 19, 1936 in Poplar Bluff, MO to the late Quentin and Margaret McCabe Lemmons.

He was a retired TV repairman and was active in Boy Scouts and was an Eagle Scout and member of the First Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed watching baseball and fishing and was a Chicago Cubs fan.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Lemmons of the home; one son, Robert Matthew Lemmons of Jonesboro; one brother, David Lemmons (Diane) of Benton, KY; three sisters, Sue Barnes (Othel) of Thayer, MO; Pat Arnold (Glen) of Poplar Bluff, MO; and Karen Weems (Wade) of West Columbia, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Wiles and two brothers, Bill Lemmons and Dick Lemmons.

A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Lemmon's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Stephen Moody officiating.
