Brookland Robert Johnston went to be with the Lord, August 30, 2007. He was born outside of Brookland on the Phelps Hill Farm in 1923. His family moved to the Dixie Community in 1931 where they farmed. Robert worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company in Peoria, Illinois and built many homes in that area.
