Robert Allen Grant of Harrisburg departed this life on Monday, July 13, 2026 at his home at the age of 59.

He was born February 26, 1967 in Jonesboro, AR, the son of Larry Thomas Grant and Linda Jean Poore Grant.

Robert was a truck driver most of his life. His most enjoyable truck driving was for Bob Staten. Robert also worked at Wixson Brothers, Halstead, and drove a school bus for Harrisburg Public Schools. He loved Nascar, football, lying in bed and drinking Mt. Dew. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Grant and his grandparents, Delmer and Bonnie Cannon.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Tubbs of Augusta, three children, Laura Joplin of Harrisburg, Robert Aaron Grant (Sara) of Harrisburg and Noah Grant (Jessica) of Harrisburg, Two Step-brothers, Mike Tubbs (Corie) of McCrory and Glen Tubbs of Cherry Valley, and twelve grandchildren, Kylynn Hubbard, Kason Hubbard, Kynlee Grant, Kane Grant, Knox Joplin, Drake Grant, Elijah Grant, River Grant, T.L. Grant, Levi Grant, Colt Grant, and Braylon Grant.

There will be no visitation, and a Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg has been entrusted with all arrangements.
