Robert Lee Freeman, 60, of Pocahontas passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis.

Robert was born December 3, 1963 in Walnut Ridge to the late Arles Virgil and Nora Pearl Bowen Freeman. He was employed by Riceland Foods and of the Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arles and Nora Freeman; and brother-in-law, Wayne "Ben" Campbell.

Robert is survived by his son, Jerry Arles Junkersfeld-Freeman of Pocahontas; daughter, Haylee Marie Junkersfeld-Freeman of Pocahontas; brothers, Jerry (Phyllis) Cantrell of Pocahontas, Jimmy (Barbara) Cantrell of Pocahontas, Rick (Amy) Freeman of Raymore, MO, Randy (Loretta) Freeman of Pocahontas, and Bert (Angela) Freeman of Broken Arrow, OK; sisters, June (Marvin) Rogers of Catoosa, OK, Debbie Campbell of Lake Elsinore, CA, and Rhonda (Shaid Khan) Reed of Destin, FL; and many other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 2 PM at Shannon Baptist Church with Michael Freeman officiating.
