Robert Lee Johnson, Jr. "Bobby", departed this life Friday, October 30, 2020, at the St. Bernard\u0027s Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 64.

He was born August 14, 1956 in Chicago, IL, the son of Robert Lee Johnson, Sr. and Sonya Hillis Johnson. Bobby was a 1974 graduate of Steinmetz High School in Chicago. Following high school he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany for four years. After his service to our country he became a machinist for Cloud Corporation in Illinois and worked there until he retired in 2014 and moved to Harrisburg. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Johnson, Sr. in May of 2019.

He is survived by his mother, Sonya Johnson of Harrisburg, one brother, Rickie Johnson (Nancy) of Elkgrove Village, IL, one sister, Deborah Giles of Palantine, IL, three nieces, Samantha Mays (Robert), Caite Swift (Jack), Kristin Gerace (Patrick), one nephew, Matthew Giles, a great niece, Hailey Mays and a great nephew, Lincoln Mays.

Graveside funeral services have been set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at the Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother Kenny McMahan officiating.

Friends may visit at the cemetery, 1:30-2:00 p.m.
