Robert Eugene Wren departed this life on March 23, 2026 at the age of 90. He was born to Dan Wren and Catherine Throesch Wren in Engelberg, AR. He worked at Baltz Equipment Co. for over 60 years. For the last four years he worked at WT Equipment selling farming implements. He also farmed along with his son and brother. He enjoyed riding horses, hunting, cooking, and most of all, being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Catherine Wren, siblings Lloyd Wren, Lucille Barthel, Carl Wren, Chris Wren, Dan Joe Wren, Norma Schaechtel, and his twin Martin Wren.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Gwen Kennedy Wren, children Suzanne Wren Broadway, Nick (Meredith) Wren, Tracy (Dennis) Perkey, and Brandy (Jim) Young. He is survived by grandchildren Jared Wren, Jace Wren, Lindsey McDowell, Aaron (Landyn) Perkey, Alexa Perkey, Quade (Gracie) Young, Noah Young, and Asher Young. He is survived by one great grandchild, Weston McDowell.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 at McNabb Funeral Home. Rosary will follow at 7:00. The funeral will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons Jared Wren, Jace Wren, Aaron Perkey, Quade Young, Noah Young, and Asher Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Wren, Leo Baltz, Matt Mosbey, Tim Smith, and Weston McDowell.
