Robert Nance "Bob" Williamson, 89, of Pocahontas passed away Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Bob was born January 14, 1935, in Biggers to the late Robert Leon and Alma Nance Williamson.  Bob was the County Executive Director of the Department of Agriculture ASCS office, served for 12 years in the Arkansas National Guard, and was a member of WestRidge Church of Christ.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alma Williamson; son, Robert Samuel Williamson; daughter, Lisa Ann Young; sister Gee Gee Frets; and grandson, Dennis Cole Young.

Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy Dauck Williamson; grandchildren, Samantha (Charlie) Collard of Osceola, Amanda (Cody) Williamson of Blytheville, Sara (Richard) Gordon of Blytheville, Tyler (Hannah) Young of Pocahontas, Robert (Jennifer) Williamson of Starkville, MS, and Samuel (Caroline) Williamson of Columbus, MS; 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and many other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 2 PM at WestRidge Church of Christ with Stan Dauck officiating.
