Blue Eye, Missouri - Robert R. Carr "Bob, Bobby", 82, passed away November 30, 2016 and is now with his Father in Heaven.

Bob Carr was born December 2, 1933 in Black Oak. His parents were Oran and Betty Carr of Caraway. He married his wife of over 64 years, Betty A. Carr, on November 10, 1952. Shortly after the wedding basically as kids, Bob and Betty packed their car with all it could hold and moved west from Arkansas to California where he made his living primarily working in the trades and real estate activities.

He later spent time with family and friends in Blue Eye, Missouri and Chandler, Arizona. Bob Carr had strong faith in the Lord and was baptized in 1983. He left a legacy for his family to follow of love and devotion, work ethic, kindness, giving, serving, a positive personality every day, and how to be an overall exemplary gentleman and person. Of learning of his passing, it was said by a close friend that he had "never met a person who didn't like Bob Carr upon meeting him." Bob Carr loved spending time with all of his family, a great garden, studying coin history, catching crappie and bluegill, the challenge of a good construction project, fellowship, helping others, and every win by the St Louis Cardinals. Bob will truly be missed.

Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Monday, December 12, 2016 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Services will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
