Lake City- Robert C. "Bo" Ginger, 75, of Lake City died February 26, 2023 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born October 27, 1947 in Lake City to the late Mamie May Ginger. Bo was of Methodist belief and was a 1965 graduate of Dixie High School. He lived all of his life in the Lake City and Lester Communities, except for his time of service as a combat veteran in the United States Army during Vietnam.

Bo spent his life providing for his family by working in factories and farming. He enjoyed playing golf, gardening, and fishing. He also loved visiting with his family and friends, but especially loved spending time with his daughter and grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, Bo was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Henry D. Ginger.

He is survived by one daughter, Leigh (Jeff) Wells; one granddaughter, Savannah (Dustin) Crafton; one grandson, Matthew Wells; two sisters, Catherine (Garfield) Edgar and Jacqueline Ginger; one brother, Michael (Della) Ginger; one nephew, Clint (Nena) Edgar and three nieces, Cathy (Robert) Seidenstricker, Sheila Crafton and Ginger (Robbie) Wray along with several grand and great grand nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be 11:45 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Kenny Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Dustin Crafton, James Hafer, Matthew Hafer, Len B. Nall, Lin Wells and Matthew Wells and as honorary pallbearers, Rick Brewer, Bob Huffman, Bob Rudder, Gregg Garner and Delta Farms, Inc. and Dixie High School Class of 1965.
