Mr. Robert Morris Arnold of Harrisburg, depated this life Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the St. Bernard\u0027s Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 82.
He was born August 13, 1935 in Memphis, TN, the son of the late Robert Lester Arnold and Helen Salisbury Arnold.
Bob grew up in Washington DC and was of the Lutheran faith. He married Jean King on January 23, 1967 and they enjoyed 51 years together. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran and retired from Jones Truck Lines in Memphis. Following retirement, he worked some for Federal Express in Memphis. He enjoyed fishing and cooking out and playing with kids.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jean Arnold of the home and numerous cousins and extended family. Funeral services have been set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg. Interment will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday, 12:30 till service time. In lieu of flowers, family asked that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
