Lake City- Rita Price Sheedy born March 18, 1959 went to be with her Lord and Savior December 20, 2017.

Her parents are the late RC and Ruth Price. She was a member of Weiner First Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to sing, being on her computer, online shopping, being with her family and playing with her dog, Cocoa.

She is survived by her husband who she loved unconditionally for forty-two years, Rick Sheedy; her children and grandchildren, Jason and his wife Elta and their children, Zayne and Isabella; Kim Safirt and her husband Conway and their children Alexander and Ruth; Patrick and his wife Amy and their children Hannah McKelvey, London, Dakota, Brandon and Cameron Sheedy; Asa and his wife Julie and their son Jaxon and her youngest son, Izaiah Sheedy.

She loved Calvin Safirt Jr as if he was her own son and Jayden Hunter as if she was her own granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Cane Island Cemetery with Conway Safirt officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Weiner First Baptist Church for all her family and friends.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are her sons, Jason Sheedy, Patrick Sheedy, Asa Sheedy, Izaiah Sheedy and Conway Safirt and Calvin Safirt Jr. and as honorary pallbearers are her grandsons and granddaughters.
