Rickey Sanders Giles, 76, of Harrisburg, departed this life Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, surrounded by family and friends.

He was born September 30, 1949, in Manila, Arkansas, to the late Ralph and Elsie Johnson Giles.

Rick graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1968. He started working as a highliner for A.P. & L in 1970. He retired in 2005. Rick loved his family and enjoyed wildlife.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters', Phyllis Barnett, Wanda Jean Beggs and Linda Plunkett, a niece, who was like a sister, Gail Hutchison.

He is survived by a nephew, Harold Hutchison, and several very close friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Harrisburg Memorial Park with Gary Henson officiating.
