Oakdale, LA- Richard Lynn Weaver- 58 passed away July 6, 2013. Born September 16, 1954 in St. Louis, MO to the late Vernon H. Sr. Jewel Weaver. Richard was a foster parent for 25 years, worked at American Steel for 10 years and retired after 24 years from L.A. Darling. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, daughter Sarah Weaver, mother-in-law, father-in-law. He is survived by his wife Rhonda Weaver of the home, daughter, Elizabeth (Archie) Barber of Reyno, AR, son, Joshua (Carmen) Weaver of Biggers, Ar. Grandchildren: Makayla Barber, Hunter Barber, Cayden Weaver, McKenzie Barber, Bailey Weaver, Joshua Meeks, Ryan Weaver, brothers, Vernon H. Weaver Jr of Doniphan, Mo, Larry D. Sr (Janie) Weaver of Guthrie, OK. Sister Lydia Thorton of Springfield, MO. Visitation will be Friday July 12, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at McNabb Funeral Home. Funeral will be Saturday July 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Darrell Fears officiating. Burial will follow in the Nelson Cemetery.
