Richard “Tick” Allen Lindsey, 80, of Ravenden Springs, departed this life on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at his home.

Tick was born on February 22, 1946, in Pocahontas to the late Willie Lindsey and Marie Johnston Lindsey. He worked for many years as a foreman at Frolic Footwear.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Marie Lindsey; his daughter, Tracy Linebaugh; and his brothers, Bill Lindsey and Doyle Lindsey.

Tick is survived by his children, Todd Lindsey, Pam Sharp, Kelly McCandless, Jennifer Lindsey, Jessica Snow, and Kurt Smith; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Jerry Lindsey, Charlie Lindsey, and Donna Higgins.

Visitation will be held from 12:00–2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026, at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., with Tommy Boles officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
