Mr. Richard Dewayne Rieathbaum, 47, of Walnut Ridge, departed this life Thursday, May 14, 2015 at his home. He was born April 1, 1968 in Trumann, the son of Carty Rieathbaum and Ruby Rieathbaum Steele. Richie was a heavy equipment operator and a gifted musician who loved playing the guitar. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Lori Rieathbaum of Walnut Ridge, his step-father, Billy Steele of Cabot, a sister, Teresa Dunton and her husband Jim of Jonesboro, his niece, Hannah Dunton, his nephew, Ean Dunton, and his faithful dog "Bear"; many cousins and other family and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Rev. Anthony Clem officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be in the chapel Wednesday, noon till service time. Pallbearers will be Donnie Rieathbaum, Daniel Rieathbaum, Timmy Depriest, Danny Rasdon, Mike Parish and Glen Parish.
