Fisher- Richard Greg Kelley, 70, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.
He was born September 20, 1947 in Hickory Ridge, to the late Jacob and Christine Hawkins Kelley. He married Cheryl Horst on September 6, 1975, and they enjoyed 40 years together. Greg worked for Farmer's Oil for about fifteen years. He was a Fisher Volunteer Fireman for over twenty years. He was a member of the Fisher United Methodist Church.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Kelley and a sister, Janet Clark.
He is survived by two children, Rickey Kelley and wife Shawnya of Jonesboro and Chrissy Kelley of Fisher; five grandchildren, Dalton Kelley, Maddy Scudder, and Deston Kelley (Lannah) all of Fisher, Meaghan Beshears of Newport, Karrington Kelley of Jonesboro; five great grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2018, at the Fisher United Methodist Church with Rev. John Sawyer officiating. Interment will follow in Fisher Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home.
Friends may visit at the church Monday morning, 10:00 a.m. till service time.
Pallbearers will be Rolly Johnson, Randal Davis, Tanner Polston, Deston Kelley, Dalton Kelley and Buster "Sonny" Bush and as honorary pallbearers, Larry Sefers, Ray Owens, Benny Smith, Donald Polhner, Olen Ruddle and J. A. Cook.
