Rendell Lee Wallis, 73, of Pocahontas entered into his heavenly home on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. He was born June 1, 1952 in Walnut Ridge, AR, to the late Rudy and Mary Ellen (Shelton) Wallis.

Rendell was known by all for his love of horses, his infectious laughter, and never being without his cowboy hat. He cherished his family time with his daughters and grandkids.

Rendell is survived by his three daughters Renda Smith of Jonesboro, Bridget Wallis of Pocahontas, and Regina (Seth) Hill of Maynard. Grandchildren Austin Carpenter of Maynard, Kayden (Leah) Wallis-Collier of Louisville, NE, Breonna (Alex) Stowers of Pocahontas, Kaylee Smith and Gabriella Smith of Jonesboro. Siblings Gary Wallis of Pocahontas, Byron Wallis of Memphis and Patricia Grissom of MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

Along with his parents, he was proceeded in death by his older brother, Sherwin Wallis, sister-in-law Sherie Wallis, and nephew Noah Wallis. He was of the Free Will Baptist faith.

Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, May 3 at McNabb Funeral Home. A private burial service will be held for family at Thomas Cemetery on Monday.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Austin Carpenter, Kayden Wallis-Collier, Alex Stowers, Nicky Joe Wallis, Adam Wallis, and James Wallis.

Honorary pallbearers are Seth Hill, Nathaniel Wallis, Issac Wallis, Zayne Koth and Connor Kemper.
