Obituary

POCAHONTAS-Rema Marie Rose Knoche, 89, of Pocahontas went to be with the Lord Jesus Sunday, March 23, 2008 at Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas. She was born March 15, 1919 in Randolph County to the late J. W. and Martha (Johnson) Collier. Her first husband, Earl E. Rose and one great-grandson, Shawn Wallace, and two brothers Harvey and Joe Hite Collier, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Harold Knoche, one stepson, Doug Knoche, three daughters, Rema Earlene Ray, Frances Gearldene Parent and Zelda Jean Bennett, one son, Billy Darrell Rose, one son-in-law, Billy Bennett, one daughter-in-law, Joyce Rose, one stepdaughter-in-law Hillary Knoche, all of Pocahontas, fourteen grandchildren, Barbara Graham, Julie Benson, Delta Jones, Billy Rose, Jr. Sylvia, Eddie and Teddy Parent, all of Pocahontas, Debbie Grant of TN, Joe Griscom of Ravenden Springs, Rema Merritt of Marion, Trease Shepherd of Supply, Rick Rose of Cave City, Rhonda Jackson of Imboden, and Terry Bennett of Jacksonville, FL, forty-five great-grandchildren, and twenty-six great-great-grandchildren. She also has one great-grandbaby and three great-great-grandbabies on the way. Services will be held at 10am Wednesday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Rev. Zelda Jean Bennett and Bro. Terry Benson officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery at Attica with grandsons, Joe Grissom, Terry Bennett, Rick Rose, Billy Rose, Jr. and Eddie Parent, and great-grandsons, David Grissom, Michael Benson and Matthew Benson, serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 4-8 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
