Jonesboro- Rebecca Jane Flynn, 74, passed away on April 9, 2026. She was born on July 13, 1951, in Monette, to the late George Carl Flynn and Margaret Louise McCarty.

Rebecca was a homemaker for many years, a role she cherished, especially as her family grew. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she rarely missed an opportunity to watch them play sports or celebrate their accomplishments. She also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Colt, who brought her comfort and companionship.

She retired from Craighead Electric after many years of dedicated service. Outside of work, Rebecca loved vacationing at the beach, Destin was her favorite place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the sunshine. She also enjoyed watching basketball on TV, cheering on her favorite teams from home.

Rebecca is survived by her son, Chris Poe (Becky) of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, Jackson Jeremy Poe of Jonesboro and Molly Wilson (Dillon) of Colt; and two great‑grandchildren, Jaylee Poe and Nila Jane Poe. She is also survived by two sisters, Carla Hayse of Jonesboro and Marianne Hawkins (Jerry) of Paragould; and her close companion, Dean Jones, whom she was married to for twenty years and who lovingly cared for her throughout her illness.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 2–3 p.m. at Gregg‑Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m., with Rev. Nate Morse officiating.
