Lake City- Reba Nell Butler, 69, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at her home.
She was born January 19, 1949 in McKenzie, Tennessee to the late R. C. and Geneva Thomas Gallimore. She was a homemaker who raised a very large family, who also owned a trucking company. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Butler; two daughters, Michelle Greer and Pattie Griffin; and three siblings, James Gallimore, Wayne Gallimore and Doris Gallimore.
She is survived by her children, Jerry Young (Kelly), James Young, Bennie Butler (Tracy), Donna Razer (Mark), Sherry Jewell (Arnold), Betty Meyer (Mark) and Michael Butler; four siblings, Janice Heath, Jeanette Largent, Phyllis Gallimore and Gary Gallimore; twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 Sunday, afternoon at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
A celebration of her life will be 1:00 pm, Monday, January 7, 2019 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Diane Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Lake City New Cemetery.
