Raymond Gail Rickman 80, of Pocahontas passed away Saturday February 26, 2022, at his home.

He was born December 17, 1941, to the late Jed and Birdie Davis Rickman in Ravenden Springs. He was a retired equipment operator for the Natural Gas Pipeline. Raymond loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and telling stories to all his family and friends.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Jed and Birdie Rickman; siblings, Duel Rickman, Jay Rickman, Helen German, JB Rickman, Jim Rickman, and Wilma Leslie.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Crouch Rickman; daughter, Kim Segraves of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Monica Segraves of Pocahontas, Hunter (Brittnei) Segraves of Pocahontas, and great granddaughter Kenzlie Segraves of Pocahontas; siblings, Peggy Smith of Pocahontas, Martha Goodwin of Maynard, Joyce Morris of Pocahontas, Janice Taylor of Little Rock, and Jerry Rickman of Drasco; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 12-2 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral services beginning at 2 PM with Billy Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Yadkin Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Travis Jones, Austin Jones, Brennan Brodell, Monte Segraves, Cody Lindsey and Scott Thielemier.
