Ray Cain, 81 of Maynard passed away August 10, 2021, at Fiver Rivers Medical Center.

Ray was born September 2, 1939, to the late Ray and Ollie Wright Cain in McCrory, Ar. He was a member of the Witts Chapel Baptist Church in Maynard.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; brother Jimmy; sisters Donnie and Frankie; great granddaughter Lauren McCurter; great grandson Will Low.

Ray is survived by his wife, Joann Cain; daughters Debbie (Steve) Oliver of Lynn, Sandy Eagle of Searcy, Barbara (Lloyd) Lampton of Baton Rouge, Teresa (Brandon) Patrick of Hamburg, Beth (Kenny Hanson) Atchley of Maynard; sons Raymond (Terri) Cain of Jonesboro, Frank (Tammy) Cain of California, Ray (Jelena) Stolz of Gulfport, MS; step daughters Vicky Powers of Pocahontas, Rhonda (Harold) McCurter of Maynard; twenty six grandchildren; forty one great grand children and three great great grandchildren; siblings A.J. Cain of Sun City, AZ and Shirley (Les) Henderson of Mesa, AZ; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday August 14, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Gary Greggory officiating. Burial will be held following services in the Masonic Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
