Pocahontas, Arkansas - Ray Milburn Kellett, 88, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013. Ray was born August 13, 1925 in Ravenden Springs, Arkansas to the late Jasper and Nettie Kellett. He is also preceded in death by his brother Willard Kellett and sisters Ola Gates, Lois Stone, Wilda Schimmings and Glendora Kellet. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Bonnie B. Kellett, sons Gary Kellett of Biggers, Rick Kellett of Pocahontas and Mike Kellett of West Monroe, Louisiana. Grandchildren Jeremy Kellett of Vilonia, Chad Heritage of Benton, Tiffany Kellett of Memphis, Tennessee, Caleb Kellett of Pocahontas, Cassie Kellet Ward of Pocahontas, Josh Kellett of Searcy, Kristin Kellett of Searcy and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Myrl Kellett of Pocahontas and Evertt Kellett of Ranvenden Springs. Ray served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the VFW. He was also a proud volunteer fire fighter. Visitation was held from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Sunday September 1, 2013 in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home and funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 2, 2013 at McNabb Funeral Home, with Mike Kellett officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Gardens. . Pallbearers included: Chad Heritage, Jeremy Kellett, Caleb Kellett, Andy Ward, Josh Kellett and David Brown.
