Mr. Randy Junior Hively of Cherry Valley, departed this life on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at his home at the age of 70.

He was born July 2, 1954 in Whitehall, AR, the son of the late Junior Hively and Evelyn Adams Hively.

Randy farmed all his life and worked for Thomas Hess Farms for 42 years.  He married Vicki Yancey on May 15, 1976 and they enjoyed 49 years together.  He loved woodworking and working on old cars.  He was the only son of 10 children and he had three daughters and no sons. He enjoyed life and was loved by all who knew him.  He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Hively of the home, three daughters, Rachel Hill (Jimmy) of Marion, Sarah Pitts (Chris) of Cherry Valley, and Virginia Edwards (Perry) of Colt, six sisters, Peggy Jordan of Cherry Valley, Fay Beashers (William) of McCrory, Tina Hively of McCrory, Kathy Hively of McCrory, Christy Phillips (Brad) of Cherry Valley and Lisa Stevens (B.J.) of Hickory Ridge, 11 Grandchildren, Jordan Walls, Jada Timbs, Makenzie Edwards, Justin Jarvis, Matthew Jarvis, Erika Hudson, Olivia Hudson, Destiny Edwards, Isabel Edwards, Macie Edwards, and Ryan Ellis, 9 Great Grandchildren, a special niece Michelle Stevens of Beedeville, and a host of other nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be Friday evening, June 6th, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. There will be no service to follow.
