Jonesboro- Randy Connor, 53, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019.

He was born to David and Patricia Smith Connor on October 14, 1966 in Walnut Ridge. He grew up in Sedgwick and graduated in 1985 from Hoxie High School. Randy worked for Gordon Food Service for over twenty-four years in their Memphis Sales Division. He was a member of the Arkansas Athletic Association and was a referee for twenty-four years and a member of the Arkansas State University Red Wolves football chain crew. He enjoyed working and loved football, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Randy attended Cornerstone United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Richetta Fletcher Connor; two sisters, Tammy Galbreath (Jack) of Hoxie and Tonya Hutsell (Lanny) of Pocahontas; a brother-in-law, Micheal Fletcher (Pam) of Jonesboro; nieces and nephews, Emily Dickerson Parker, Katharine Fletcher Rankin (Daniel), Christopher Fletcher (Amanda), Aaron Hutsell, Kaylan Hutsell, Katie Galbreath and Amber Galbreath; five great-nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Emerson Connor, Dessie Schaffer Augustine, Raymond Smith Sr. and Clara Milgrim Smith.

A celebration of his life will be 10:00 am Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Kathleen McMurray officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

The visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, January 3, 2020 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Aaron Hutsell, Kaylan Hutsell, Christopher Fletcher, Todd Wilcox, Mo Warren, Clayton Mason and Curtis Tate and as honorary pallbearers, Gordon Food Service - Memphis Sales Division.
