Pocahontas- Randy Lynn Farrin, 56, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at St.Bernards Medical Center. He was born December 11, 1955 in Phoenix, Az. He was preceded by his parents Robert Warren, Phill Farrin and Step Dad Bryan Thornburgh and Patricia Bryant Thornburgh and his mother in-law Rosemary B. Nickell. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Gena Farrin of the home. Son Rusty and wife Katie Farrin of New Braunfels, Texas and daughter Roni Farrin of Jonesboro, Ar. 2 brothers; Rick Farrin of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Ronnie Farrin of Washington, D.C. and one sister Robyn Covington of South Carolina. Randy and Gena where married on June 30, 1978 In Doniphan, Mo. Randy was an avid sports fan, past President of the Baseball Association, coached pee-wee Basketball and Little League Baseball and loved to bowl. Randy worked at Waterloo Industries nearly 30 years and was employed by Hino Motors Manufacturing. Randy graduated from Doniphan High School in 1974. Funeral service was held Sunday, October 21,2012 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Gerald Fears officiating. Burial followed in Shirley Cemetery in Doniphan, Mo. Visitation was Sunday from 1:00 till service time. Pallbearers included: Jerry Sharp, Eddie Witt, Rick Hagood, Jerry Lindsey, Chuck Couch and Drew Nickell.
