Imboden- Ralph Junious Murphy, 86, formally of Biggers, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at his home. He was preceded by his parents Homer P. Murphy and Ethel and Sammie Moore. One son Ralph Daylon Murphy and one brother Bill Murphy. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eleanor Murphy of the home, one son Gevan Murphy of Imboden, 2 daughters; Ilagene Higginbottom of Ash Flat, Ar and Franchelle Brown of Conway, Ar. Grandchildren; Brandon Murphy of Pocahontas, Aaron Murphy of Imboden, Peyton Murphy of Benton, Laura Wells of Mabelvale, AR., Andrea Higginbottom of Ash Flat, Austin Brown, Ean Brown, Claire Brown all of Conway. 6 great-grandchildren; Ava, Luke, Taylor, Audrey, Clara and Jett. 2 sisters; Barbara Coleman of Bono and Freedia Zatina of Rochester Hills, MI. Ralph served his country in World War II in the Pacific Theater and was a Staff Sergeant with the 20th Infantry. He was a member of the Biggers Church of Christ Elder, Teacher and Song Leader, he worked an Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America for over 35 Years as a Welder. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Paragould Children's Home or the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. Military Honors will be performed by Promberger Traw Post #4556. Service will be Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Ben Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Hite Cemetery in Biggers. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00-8:00 at McNabb Funeral Home.
