Pocahontas- Ralph Scott Hixson, 70, passed away on March 24, 2019 at Five Rivers Medical Center.
Ralph was born on July 31, 1948 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Ralph Edwin and Georgia Phelps Hixson. He proudly served in the US Navy and retired after 28 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hixson of the home; 2 sons, Michael (Christina) Hixson of Birmingham, AL and Brian (Jeannie) Hixson of Walnut Ridge, AR; 4 stepsons, Mark (Carina) Cole of Ft Gipson, OK, Chuck Cole of Franklin, IN, Dustin (Tricia) Cole of Muskogee, OK and Jason Cole of Pocahontas; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lana (Jim) Lemons, of Daphne, AL.
Cremation was chosen and there are not any services scheduled at this time. Arrangements under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
