Pocahontas- Ralph Lehman Cook, Jr., 76, passed away April 14, 2016 at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehab Center. Ralph was born August 22, 1939 at Eleven Point, Arkansas, son of Ralph L Sr. and Monnie Armstrong Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Mona Jean Evans; and brother Jerry N. Cook. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anna Lue Daniels Cook; daughter Tammy (Michael) Spann of Cordova, TN; grandson Stone Spann of Mississippi; brother George B. (Lora) Cook of Mississippi; sisters Carol (Walter) Upton of Enola, AR, Sherryl (Robert) Livingston of Indiana; and sister-in-law Emily Cook of Rogers. Ralph graduated from Sloan-Hendrix High School at Imboden in 1958. He was a local automobile and aircraft mechanic for several years. He joined FedEx as an aircraft mechanic in 1979 and retired from FedEx in 2004 after 25 years with the company. Ralph served 6 years in the Arkansas Army National Guard from 1962-1968. He had basic training at Fort Polk, Louisiana. He served with the Walnut Ridge National Guard unit. Ralph was a member of the Baptist Church. Services will be at McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral service will be Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 2:00pm with Harold Russell officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Garden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Pallbearers: Russell Evans, Tony Evans, David Evans, Randy Daniels, Michael Spann and Mark Sparks. Honorary pallbearers: Ralph's coworkers from FedEx.
