Rachel Irene Richardson, 88, of Pocahontas departed this life on Monday, November 25, 2024, in Lonoke Nursing and Rehab.

Rachel was born on October 4, 1936, in New Edinburg, Arkansas to Troy Calvin Briant and Lulu Irene Harvell Briant. After graduating from high school, she went on to nursing school to become an RN. She worked several nursing jobs and became the nursing director at Five Rivers Hospital in Pocahontas.

She was preceded by her parents, Troy Calvin Briant and Lulu Irene Harvell Briant; husband, Oscar Keith Richardson and son, Michael Keith Richardson.

She is survived by her grandsons, Christopher Keith Richardson of Austin, Jimmye Hunter (Danielle) Richardson of Ward, and Clay Stewart of Collierville, TN., great-grandchildren, Jackson, Kayson, and Ivy Richardson of Ward.

Visitation will be held 11:00 – 12:00 pm Friday, November 29, 2024, with the funeral service to begin at 12:00 pm with Terry Miller officiating. All services will be held in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery.
