Preston Lee Clark, 70, of Imboden, Arkansas passed away on September 15, 2026. He was born on May 23, 1956, to Ottis and Freeda Justus Clark of Imboden.

A lifelong resident of Imboden, Preston was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was united in marriage to Janet Willene Dixon on April 19, 1984. Together, they shared 42 years of marriage and spent almost every moment of their lives together.

Preston dedicated 36 years to the banking industry in Imboden, where he proudly served and cared for generations of friends and customers. He later began working for Peco Foods in Pocahontas, where he was employed as a live haul manager.

He was currently a member of the Imboden City Council and was a former member of the Sloan-Hendrix District School Board. He also served on the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department and the Hope Cemetery Board.

Preston found some of his greatest enjoyment in the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, working in his garden, and most of all, spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his dedication to his community, his love for his family, and the many lives he touched throughout his years in Imboden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ottis and Freeda Justus Clark.

Preston is survived by his wife and best friend of 42 years, Janet Willene Clark of the home.

He is also survived by his three children, Paige Scurlock and husband Drew of Jonesboro, Seth Clark and wife, Autumn of Pocahontas, and Kelly McCormic of Imboden. He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Owen Scurlock, Abram Scurlock, Jarrett Clark and Haley Kiech, Jace and Dessie Clark, John William Clark, Macy McCormic and fiancé, Garrett Reese and one great-granddaughter, Jensen Clark; brother, Mark Clark and wife Terry of Imboden. He also leaves behind several cousins, extended family, his Peco family and a lifetime of friends.

Preston will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the many people whose lived he touched throughout his years of service to his community.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Hope Cemetery in Imboden, Arkansas with Brother Jerry Clements and Brother Vance Penn Officiating.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Drew Scurlock, Jarrett Clark, Jace Clark, Owen Scurlock, Garrett Reese, Abram Scurlock, John Clark, and Seth Clark.
