IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Phyllis
Tribble
June 22, 1937 – July 13, 2025
Phyllis Tribble, 88, of Paragould, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
A woman of deep faith, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion, Phyllis lived a life marked by compassion, service, and love for others. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bishop Arvle Tribble, with whom she shared a life of ministry and dedication to the church. Together, they faithfully served in pastoral leadership throughout Arkansas, touching countless lives with their shared commitment to faith and community.
Phyllis was the heart of her family — a loving mother, treasured grandmother, and gentle matriarch. She is survived by her five children: Diane Sparks of Hardy, Craig Larry (Carolyn) Tribble of Trumann, Donna (Donald) Webb of Brookland, Sherry Bata of Paragould, and Tim Tribble (Allicia) of Pocahontas. Her legacy also lives on through her fourteen grandchildren: Wayne Sparks, Rodney Sparks, Stephan Sparks, Davy Sparks, Shannon Tribble, Tena Taylor, Nathan Webb, Stacey Grimes, Stephanie Ferrell, Scott Bata, Josh Tribble, Cody Tribble, Andrew Tribble, and Jackson Troxel; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren — each of whom was a source of joy and pride.
Phyllis will be remembered for her quiet wisdom, her kind heart, and the faith that shaped every aspect of her life. She was a steady presence in the lives of those who knew her — a listener, a prayer warrior, and a woman whose door was always open.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel, with the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Dan Avery. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Gardens.
Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of faith, family, and love will live on in the many lives she touched.
Those honored to be pallbearers will be the grandsons.
