Obituary
Memphis, TN- Phyllis J. Rowden, 76 passed away on December 7, 2016 at the Memphis Jewish Rehabilitation Center after an extended battle with Alzheimers.
Phyllis was born September 15, 1940 in Fulton County, AR to the late Dallas and Gertrude Landers Rowden.
A native of Pocahontas, Arkansas Phyllis graduated from Arkansas State University in 1962 and joined National Bank of Commerce where she became an Executive Secretary and served for forty years, retiring from SunTrust Bank in 2000. A long time member of Bellevue Baptist Church, she was very active in Bible Study Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dallas and Gertrude Rowden.
A private graveside service will be held in Oxford, Arkansas on December 9, 2016. Arrangements under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
Memorials may be sent to the Memphis Humane Society or a charity of the donors choice.
