Mrs. Phyllis Jean Roberts, of Jonesboro, departed this life Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 68.

She was born October 26, 1947 in Marked Tree, AR, the daughter of the late Eulis Brack and Leona Coats Brack. Phyllis was a homemaker and former owner and operator of her own fruit packing business and also a former waitress. She was a collector of miniature knick knacks and loved being with her family, whom she considered the biggest joy of her life. She was of the Baptist faith. She married Michael Donald Roberts in 1972 and they enjoyed 34 years together before his death in 2006.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William "Bill" Brack, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She is survived by two daughters, Paula wright (Cecil) of Harrisburg, and Kimberly McGowan of Harrisburg, three sons, Johnny Roberts (Katherine) of Jonesboro, Michael Hodges of Harrisburg, and Terry Hodges of Jonesboro, three sisters, Katherine Davis of Trumann, Geraldine Gann of Batesville and Betty Brack of Batesville, two brothers, Donald "Duck" Brack (Brenda) of Hartsell, AL and James Brack (Mary) of Batesville, 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Brother Don Neal officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday evening, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Katherine Roberts, Jake Batchelar, Spencer Clowers, Shannon Brack, Jeremy Birdsell and Donnie Davis. The grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
