Obituary

We celebrate the life of Phillip Henson Segraves Jr, otherwise known as "Butch". He came into this world on September 13th, 1961. His Mother was Ellen Ann Cole and Father was Phillip Henson Segraves Sr. He was raised by his Grandparents R.H. And Catherine Segraves which he called Mom and Dad. They lived in Biggers, AR and attended school in the Biggers-Reyno Public School System. After School he had a short marriage to Lisa King (Smith) having two children. After the loss of his son and a divorce, Butch travelled around the Country a few years then joined the army reserves, married his second wife Jean. After a year in the Reserves, he transferred to Regular Army where he served 3 years. During his time in the Army, he was deployed to the Panama Canal where he served valiantly during that small war in Panama. After his discharge from the Army and a divorce from Jean, Butch went to truck driving school and began his career and drove over the road for 25 years. During his trucking days he met and married Beverly. He stayed with Beverly and nursed her through her losing battle with cancer. After retiring from trucking, he finally chose to try and come home. He began searching on Facebook, he found me, his childhood sweetheart. Butch came home to marry her. He was happy and encouraging to anyone who would talk to him. He would share his love of the Lord with one and all. Butch finally lost his own battle with cancer and went home to with the Lord on March 23rd, 2023. Butch was proceeded in death by his grandparents R.H. and Catherine Segraves, his parents Phillip Henson Segraves Sr. And Ellen Ann Cole, an Uncle Doug Lamar Segraves and his son Phillip Wesley Segraves, also his 2nd wife Nita Jean Segraves, and his 3rd wife Beverly A. Callaloo. Butch leaves many friends and loved ones including his wife Cathy Segraves of the home, his 1st wife Lisa King Smith, his daughter Sasha Smith Kirk and husband, grandson and granddaughter, step son Jared and Shana Whitlock with 3 sons Luke, Thomas and Jasper, all of Hoxie, AR, step daughter Victoria Whitlock and Devon Cole with 2 sons Emmet and Gabriel of Pocahontas, AR, step son James Whitlock of the US Army, our chosen son Cody Olden of Maynard, Ar. Butch also leaves a step mother Reina Segraves and sister Katherine Segraves with two sons and one daughter, of Mohave Az., Julie Segraves and Lee Cupp with 3 sons Jr, Archer and Gunner, of Pocahontas, Ar., one Aunt, Phillis Waddle with 3 sons and 1 daughter of Springfield, Ar., 2 Uncles, Bruce Segraves and Larry Segraves of Van Buren, Mo. and many more cousins that loved him dearly.
