Jonesboro- Phillip O'Neal Moore, 78, passed Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born May 24, 1936 in Fisher to the late Ruebel and Nancy Barr Moore. Mr. Moore farmed in Fisher area for many years and moved to Beumont, Texas in 1985 to farm catfish. He was also a pilot and enjoyed cooking. He was survived by his children, Scott Moore of Fisher, Cherie Sprouse of Weiner and Melanie Hart and husband Jeff Sr. of Jonesboro; a sister, Emaline Holleman of Wynne; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; special friends, Brian and Jackie Erwin. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jake Moore and Earl Moore and two sisters, Evelyn Mahon and Loretta Moore. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be 2:00 pm Friday, October 3, 2014 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Lasting memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
